Our TeamWe consider ourselves the Primary Care Provider for your vehicles, and we take a proactive, collaborative approach in the service we provide. We want you and your family safe on the road, not stuck on the side of it.
We'll get to know your car inside and out and advise you on what services you need right away, and what can wait. If unexpected problems are discovered, we will bring all of your options to the table, keeping in mind your short and long term plans for your car. We'll never advise you to keep a car you shouldn't. EricYou'll also have the pleasure of working with Eric, who came to Auto Advisors in 2017 with seven years of experience, specializing in Nissan, Subaru and other foreign and domestic makes. During his training Eric won the Ford AAA Auto Skills Award for Vermont and brought home 11th place (out of 50!) at the National competition in Detroit. Eric is an avid outdoors-man and when he's not fixing cars you'll find him in the woods and fishing our area lakes every season.
Payment and WarrantyWe gladly accept payment in the form of cash, credit card (Visa, MC, Discover), or a check from a local bank. We strive to service your vehicle properly the first time, and we stand by and guarantee our work for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Your satisfaction matters to us, and we'll work with you every step of the way to make sure we achieve just that.

![]() "Popular Mechanics" Magazine names Brian Kane of Auto Advisors a runner up in their Most Popular Mechanic Contest!
See the shoutout here! About Brian and DianneOwner Brian Kane, ASE Master Certified Technician, has worked in the automotive industry since 1988, and after more than a decade of management positions Brian decided it was time to bring his business concept and ideals to his community. The building went up in 2001 and doors of Auto Advisors opened in 2002.
As a family man and veteran of the US Army, Brian knows the importance of honesty and integrity; traits he brings to the shop every day. He and his technicians are fully committed to servicing your vehicles with those same values. Outside the doors of Auto Advisors, Brian stays busy with his family, and during those rare free moments you are likely to find him fly-fishing on the river, ice fishing on our beautiful lakes, hiking through the woods, or perfecting his golf swing. The great outdoors is his home away from home. Brian's wife, Dianne, runs the front end of the shop and also loves all that New Hampshire has to offer. When she's not at work, you'll find her out on the river with Brian, walking our lovely area roads, tending to her gardens, and taking the dogs out for country drives. She also writes for the InterTown Record as the local Neighborhood Correspondent. With their four kids launched into to the world, Dianne and Brian take care of their two Golden Doodles, Marcus and Murphy; and their "grand-dog" Tootsie (she's a Chi-Poo) has taken up permanent residence with them. They seem take the edge off of the empty nest syndrome and keep them plenty busy with lots of "tails" to tell. Tootsie often comes to the shop, and even though she has some anxiety around people she just loves coming to work and overseeing the front office from her perch on the counter! Brian and Dianne were featured in the local "Lake Sunapee Neighbors" Magazine in March of 2018. You can see their story in the magazine images below. (Publication photos by Lorandeau Photography).
